ABSTRACT

[Purpose] The purpose of this research is to analyze the trends of domestic experimental research on career education programs of students with developmental disabilities. In this regard, The question of research is, first, what is the general characteristic of domestic experimental research that have implemented career education programs for students with developmental disabilities? Second, what is the independent variable of domestic experimental research that have implemented career education programs for students with developmental disabilities? Third, what is the dependent variable of domestic experimental research that implemented career education program for students with developmental disabilities?. [Method] a literature research method was used to analyze 32 experimental studies applying career education programs for students with developmental disabilities, which were announced at international and foreign country. [Results] The results of the experimental study on career education programs applied to students with developmental disabilities are as follows. First, research subjects were in order of middle school, high school, elementary school, and post-high school. Second, control group experiment design was the most frequently used experimental design method. Third, most of the career education program types were studies using career education programs as independent variables. Fourth, the number of sessions for career education programs was the highest in the 11th to 15th sessions. Fifth, career maturity was highest in the frequency of measuring areas in career education programs. Sixth, most of the analyzed thesis set more than one measurement area, and there were also various measurement tools to measure them. [Conclusion] This study, which analyzes the trend of experimental research on career education program of students with developmental disabilities, will be useful as a basic data for research, development and application of career education program of students with developmental disabilities in the field of special education
