AB - Inset feeding type patch antenna for 6GHz is designed. The performance difference between the coplanar feeding andaperture coupling is also analysed. The coplanar feedline tends to radiate more than the buried feedline, because it isprinted on the same substrate as the radiator, which has a high radiation efficiency. It can be showed and calculated thatradiation pattern and return loss of patch antenna with inset feeding which is resulted from finite-difference time-domainsimulating method. The characteristic of antenna performance is much better than the coplanar feeding pattern.
