AB - In recent years, Chinese language curriculum education in Chinese-related departments in universities has been gradually expanding, including various contents and methods required by the times in a rapidly changing society in addition to existing communication-oriented language education. As a result, the reorganization cycle of the Chinese curriculum in the university education field is also gradually getting shorter, and new subjects are often developed and added as needed, or replaced existing subjects. Therefore, at this point, an objective review and systematic plan for the existing perception of Chinese language education and the curriculum should be prepared.
The most important task in reviewing and presenting plans for the Chinese curriculum is to set educational goals, which should be preceded by an understanding of the overall foreign language education environment of the period and what education is required. Accordingly, this paper reviewed the Chinese language education goals among domestic Chinese-related curriculums and proposed a systematic education goal setting plan that is essential at this point.
