ABSTRACT

In Chinese, the complement word is more widely used than in Korean. And the complement word used in Korean and Chinese is used differently in definition and function. In particular, in Korean, the complement word supplements the subject matter, but in Chinese, the contents of predicates are supplemented. As such, the function and role of the complement words are completely different between the two languages. Therefore, it is impossible to convert the complement words into the same component and use it, whether it is a Chinese or Korean translation. Therefore, no matter what type of translation is performed, it is inevitable to find a solution to the complement word. As part of these efforts, this paper seeks to find a framework for Chinese translation related to the state complement.
