ABSTRACT

Global efforts are being made to commercialize traditional regional festivals and new planned events. Also, academic efforts are fueling this trend to analyze economic potentials and success factors of regional festivals and planned events as a commodity. However, most festival-related studies had been limited tourists and visitors. This study is designed to analyze effect recognition, satisfaction of local residents, which is a provider and a operator in regional festivals, through the concept of attachment on regional community. The results of this research are summarized as follows: Attachment on regional community is divided into social acquaintance, dependence and effect recognition on regional festivals were categorized as promotion, local economic, personal economic and social effect. Cluster analysis was conducted and showed that attachment on regional community was categorized two clusters, while effect recognition on regional festivals was categorized three clusters. Empirical analysis was done based on these data and could identify differences and effects among parents' native place, recognition on festival effect, attachment on regional community, satisfaction/intention of recommendation and revisit. 핵심용어(Key words):애착도(attachment), 지역축제평가(regional festival evaluation), 영향인식(effect recognition)
