AB - This study examines methods to enhance team teaching in translation classes as a form of convergence education by analyzing interviews with graduate students who attended a team-teaching class. It then proposes approaches to convergence education from three perspectives. First, translation classes can be organized according to the characteristics of teaching agents as follows: i) combining instructors by the direction of translation, ii) combining instructors by occupation type or area, iii) pairing instructors with experts in specific professions, and iv) pairing instructors with translation initiators and users. Second, it is necessary to develop a teaching methodology for translation classes by integrating proven methods from other fields of study. Specifically, the following approaches can be considered: i) employing both division of labor and co-teaching methods, ii) planning problem-centered learning assignments based on learner cooperation, iii) designing advanced thematic module packages, and iv) incorporating user/expert feedback and assessment of task outcomes. Third, instructors should apply various technical tools and external resources to translation classes, reflecting the current translation working environment.
