ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to suggest a program that is helpful to the competence of adolescents by structuring a personality program centered on Taekwondo. To this end, we extracted elements of character programs through the concept of personality and personality education, and structured by identifying problems and improving existing programs. The results are as follows. First, based on the definition of the concept of personality and various contents of personality education, the major axis of Taekwondo personality was determined as the social code of manners and leadership. Second, each program was presented divided into a general school type and a training type. Third, the process of defining target for each team for the final action of the achievement goal of the etiquette program was inserted after the change of the Taekwondo uniform. Fourth, after evening activities, a reflective review process was suggested that makes adolescents think about today's activities, tomorrow's activities, and the attitude of the mind at Taekwondowon. Fifth, the composition of target for each program and the clarity of the means of action were presented. Sixth, community activities lacked a rational structure between activities or contents, and were configured to be implemented as an integrated activity that comprehensively creates works during community activities and presentation time by grasping the above technology and meaning. Seventh, the importance of finishing time was emphasized. This study is meaningful in that it was structured to complement the problems of the existing program and consistently achieve the goal to be obtained through the program according to the logical development and the overall context through new elements.
