This study is about the movement principle of the Lee Mae-Bang’ in Salpuri dance, which derivesthe core concepts of this dance, and finally, recognizes the movement unit and presents implications inthe field. This study proceeds in the order of literature review, preliminary survey, expert evaluation,and FGI. As a result of the analysis, 12 concepts were derived in order of importance. “Jeongjung-dong”: It uses large and small breaths as a form of movement. “Tae-geuk-seon”: It means a curveand at the same time represents yin and yang. “Yang-woo-seon”: It is a natural movement elementwhen arm movement uses a curve. Other concepts such as “Hwa”, “Bi-jeong-bi-pal”, “Gi-gyeonggyeol-hae”, “Ja-seong”, “Ji-geuk”, “Myo-ri”, “Geu-neul”, “Byeon”, and “Hwieo-jim” are also organizedin the same form. Based on these results, we expect the effect of terminology standardization andeducational use in the field in the future.
